When managed IT makes sense
Managed IT is the right model when technology problems are costing you more than they should — in staff hours, in risk, or in the attention of whoever currently "does IT" on top of their real job. Typical triggers our clients mention:
- Support tickets with your current provider sit for days, and every fix is a new billable hour.
- Nobody can say confidently that backups work, patches are current, or ex-employees are locked out.
- You're about to grow, move office, or pass a client security questionnaire — and IT is the blocker.
What switching looks like
Onboarding takes 30 days and runs alongside your current setup, so there's no gap in coverage. Week one we document and deploy monitoring. Week two we fix the urgent risks. Weeks three and four we onboard your staff, migrate vendor relationships, and hand you the first environment report. From then on, IT is a line item — not a fire drill.
Frequently asked
What does managed IT cost per user?
Plans start at $95 per user per month for our Essentials tier and $145 for fully managed. Exact pricing depends on server count and compliance needs — see the pricing page for full details.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
No. Agreements run 12 months, then month to month. If we're not fast, you shouldn't be stuck with us.
We already have an office manager who handles IT. Does this replace them?
Usually it frees them. They keep the local hands-on tasks they're good at, and we take monitoring, security, patching and escalations off their plate — with them as our on-site contact.
Is onboarding disruptive?
No. The 30-day onboarding runs in the background. Staff notice two things: a new support contact, and problems getting fixed faster.
